Located between the Cities of Roanoke and Bedford in the state of Virginia our members are ready to answer the call for emergency medical assistance 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We are incorporated by the Emergency Medical Services, Virginia State Department of Health, and authorized to provide emergency medical services for Montvale and surrounding areas. We work in cooperation with Montvale Fire Department on the same emergencies when the situations for such arise.
VOLUNTEER
Ask any member why they volunteer and they will give you the same answer, "I care about helping others." If it were your loved one needing assistance, wouldn't you want them to have the best care as quickly as possible? How many other jobs have you had (paying or not) where you could say "I made a difference in that person's life" ? As a rescue squad volunteer you make a life and death difference.
